Subaru SUV Comparison
2019 Subaru Crosstrek
Capable of delivering an EPA-estimated 33 mpg highway, the Subaru Crosstrek offers fuel efficiency and smooth acceleration with its available Lineartronic® Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT). You’ll also enjoy stability and nimble handling on highways, back roads, and city streets with the Vehicle Dynamics Control (VDC) with Active Torque Vectoring.
The Crosstrek has comfortable seating for 5, and the 60/40-split fold-down rear seats allow you to expand the large cargo area up to 51.9 cu. ft. to fit larger items. You can also carry items on top of the vehicle thanks to the standard integrated roof rails.
2019 Subaru Outback
The Subaru Outback is ready to take on any adventure. With a maximum of 73.3 cu. ft. of cargo space and roof rails with integrated crossbars, the Outback offers versatile storage options so you can accommodate passengers and packages inside with kayaks, bicycles, or a cargo carrier on top.
X-MODE® comes standard to enhance the capability of the Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive. The feature incorporates Hill Descent Control and helps maximize traction on slick surfaces. Plus, the LED steering responsive headlights allow you to clearly see around every bend.
2019 Subaru Forester
Like the Outback, the Subaru Forester’s Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive comes equipped with X-MODE®. However, the dual-function X-MODE® available on Sport, Limited, and Touring models provides selectable settings for snow, dirt, and mud to boost the traction capabilities.
Touring models of the Forester come standard with the Subaru DriverFocus™ Distraction Mitigation System. This system acts like an attentive co-pilot and can deliver an alert if it senses the driver becoming distracted or drowsy.
2019 Subaru Ascent
With 3 rows of seating standard, the Subaru Ascent comfortably holds 7 or 8 passengers, making the SUV ideal for families. For added comfort on long trips, you can opt for the available second-row captain’s chairs, and 19 cup and bottle holders are placed throughout the cabin so everyone can keep a beverage at the ready.
When you’re ready to load up for adventure, the Ascent has a maximum towing capacity of 5,000 pounds when properly equipped so you can bring along a trailer or your favorite outdoor toys.
